I have worked with the development of telecommunications as a researcher, teacher, business executive and adviser. My work has focused on the relationship between technology, markets, organisations and society.

This was followed by appointments as Acting Professor and Head of Department at several universities, work as Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy at Telia, and board positions in both private and public organisations.
When I returned to academic life in 1997, I became Head of the Center for Information and Communications Research (CIC) at the Stockholm School of Economics. In 1993, I was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA.
